Refund Policy
LicensePoint Education provides online continuing education courses and downloadable course materials for licensed professionals. Because our courses are digital products that may be accessed immediately after purchase, our refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and consistent.
LicensePoint Education course materials are designed to support professional license continuing education, including downloadable material, lesson content, quizzes, and certificates of completion. For example, our Indiana professional engineer course materials identify LicensePoint Education as the provider and describe the course format as downloadable material, companion lesson content, quiz completion, and certificate retention.
Digital Course Purchases
All course purchases are considered final once the learner has accessed course content, downloaded course materials, attempted a quiz, or received a certificate of completion.
Because our products are digital continuing education courses, we generally do not offer refunds after course access has begun.
Refunds Before Course Access
A refund may be considered if:
The course was purchased accidentally;
The learner has not accessed the course content;
The learner has not downloaded course materials;
The learner has not attempted the quiz; and
No certificate of completion has been issued.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of purchase.
Bundles
For course bundles, the same policy applies. A refund may be considered only if no course within the bundle has been accessed, downloaded, attempted, or completed.
Once any portion of a bundle has been accessed, the bundle is generally non-refundable.
Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same course or bundle more than once, please contact us. We will review the transaction history and may refund the duplicate purchase if the duplicate course access has not been used.
Course Eligibility and Licensing Requirements
LicensePoint Education makes reasonable efforts to clearly describe each course, including the intended profession, jurisdiction, credit amount, and topic area.
However, each learner is responsible for confirming that a course satisfies the requirements of the learner’s licensing board, employer, or professional organization before purchase. Licensing requirements may vary by state, profession, renewal period, and individual circumstances.
Refunds are generally not provided because a learner later determines that a course does not meet a particular licensing requirement, unless the course page contained a material error at the time of purchase.
Technical Issues
If you experience a technical issue accessing a course, downloading materials, completing a quiz, or obtaining a certificate, please contact us so we can help resolve the issue.
A refund may be considered if LicensePoint Education is unable to provide reasonable access to the purchased course after being given an opportunity to correct the issue.
Certificates of Completion
Once a certificate of completion has been issued, the course is considered completed and is not eligible for a refund.
